My name is Steve Kennedy. I am a long time Prairie Township resident that is running for re-election for the office of Prairie Township trustee. I was raised at 470 Redmond Rd. I attended Stiles, Norton, and graduated from Westland in 1974. After high school I married my wife Karen and we bought our first house in the township, 391 Yarmonth Ln. and we have lived at our current residence at 6621 W. Broad St. for the past 26 years.

 I have both business and management background that has benefited the office of trustee. I worked for Sears Distribution for 21 years until they closed in 1993. After Sears I rezoned some of our land and opened Steve’s Country Drive Thru at 6611 W. Broad St. It is here that I get to speak with hundreds of township residents weekly and get a good feel for township issues.

 If re-elected my goals are to continue the conservitive, fiscally responsible approch to running Prairie Township Government.I will continue to stand up and fight for what is right.And I will continue to fight Ohio American water unfair rate increases. With a goal of finding a way to taking this plant and putting it in government control.
